At the beginning of 2013 Wide Scanners and Systems, Inc. attended a “Certifications and Contracting” workshop sponsored by the City Rancho Cucamonga and hosted by the Rancho Cucamonga Chamber of Commerce, which was instructed by Karla Gonzalez, a consultant for the Inland Empire Small Business Development Center. At that workshop, Wide Scanners and Systems, Inc. learned about the different certifications that may assist their business in becoming more successful. After meeting with Karla Gonzalez Wide Scanners and Systems decided to move forward with the process of obtaining business certifications. Since their initial meeting with Karla, they have successfully been certified as a Small Business Enterprise (SB) through the State of California and have also been identified as a Woman Owned Small Business (WOSB) with the Federal Government.
Today, we congratulate Wide Scanners and Systems and its owners, Ruth Mitchell and Bill Mitchell for their most recent success. They have received a Certificate of Appreciation from the U.S. Army’s Common Hardware Systems Program! Keep up the great work!!
