The City of Riverside hosted the IE Small Business Development Center “Why Lease Terms and Location Matter” workshop on Wednesday, October 23, 2013. This seminar provided the tools and information necessary to assist business owners with location and lease term negotiations, while keeping in mind City zoning and building codes.
Sherry Shimshock, with the Office of Economic Development for the City of Riverside, discussed with Business owners the resources and assistance the City of Riverside provides to business owners who would like to locate their business within the City.
The “Why Lease Terms and Location Matter” workshop was presented by Pablo Velasco and Albert Lopez of Progressive Real Estate Partners, who discussed the importance of location selection and lease terms.
Pablo and Albert went over key details that business owners should be aware of such as demographics, cotenants, condition of the space, tenant improvements, types of leases and what a sample Letter of Intent (LOI) looks like.
A special Thank you to the City of Riverside, Sherry Shimshock Office of Economic Development for the City of Riverside, and Pablo Velasco and Albert Lopez of Progressive Real Estate Partners for a successful workshop.
